FLARE PR brings us the eighth edition in their series of collaborative fashion shoots to highlight new and exciting brands! Their latest project DANCING AROUND ANDALUSIA features Spanish model CARLOTA BURCH captured by Spanish photographer DIEGO DIAZ MARIN in a dazzling portrayal of culture.

Shot on the cerulean beaches, to the Spanish chalets and rural countryside hills it's a campaign allowing the featured Arab designers to be immersed in the land of their ancestors - and their fashion to have a voice loudened by it's cultural surroundings. Every colour and tone has a sharper punch in the Spanish sunshine as we're visually transported through a day in Andalusia, Malaga. It's a land that once roamed by many kingdoms and the campaign serves as a window to that history. This history is brought to life in fifteen stunning ready-to-wear looks all by Arab designer brands.

Inspired by Spanish art and design, ready-to-wear brand MIA is literally named after the Spanish word 'mia' meaning 'mine.' Established and co-founded by designer Mariam Ramadan in January 2019, from the London College of Fashion to her homeland of Egypt, this is a brand soaked in worldly influence.
MIRIAM NAZMY has become a cult favourite that connects to the core of what women what from fashion today. Galvanised by a sense of timeless elegance her garments are made of luxury fabrics from Italy and France. With her first collection launched in November 2017, she has already caught the eye of many celebrities with her ethereal design quality.

Both of these brands envelope CARLOTA BURCH in vibrant Spanish-inspired dresses - fusing tradition with modern.

CHERIE SAMI is born out of passion, creating intricate couture inspired by the client's own imagination. Within the campaign these vicarious couture dresses evoke a flourish of the Andalusian summertime dream.

However, the ready-to-wear designs are here to cut through this campaign with some much needed urban edge and simplicity. Supplied by three varying brands...

YARAISMAIL is a sustainable ready-to-wear brand that supports the slow-fashion movement. The main feature of their brand are multi-functional and adaptable garments, all hand-dyed and imprinted using foraged flora, plants and natural minerals.

ATBEIRUT is a conscious and ethical, Designer Label from Lebanon. Designer Tala Maalouf won the prize of best Pattern Drafting from Esmod Beirut in 2015. And together with her sister-in-law and Brand Manager Alessandra Rechsteiner, they started their mission in 2018, to inspire and empower women with their fashion designs, combining Lebanese tradition and Swiss perfectionism.



N BY NATALIE is a women's fashion brand established in April 2017 by Natalie Akrabova. It specializes in the design and production of womenswear shirts, tops and blouses, using the best and most natural materials found in Egypt.

Each look was paired with the luxurious, high end jewellery brand Eclat; an Egyptian brand by Egypt Gold, founded in 2018. Their 18k gold collection is reminiscent of the ancestral influence in modern Spanish design, whilst grounding the campaign in simplistic close ups.
It's a campaign with a vibrant spirit. The set designs of flowers, colourful fans and a guitar give the photographs energy and movement. The title - DANCING AROUND ANDALUSIA - showcases that this is not a campaign based on 'playing it cool' nor self-consciousness, instead it exudes a beauty that can only come from freedom and joy.
Shot against backgrounds of bold, bright colours, with a recurring palette of blues and turquoise, this campaign indulges in the beauty and galore of Spanish culture. Whilst, most importantly, allowing each creation from these mesmerising Arab designers, an individual moment to shine
