Every week ROUGH ONLINE in collaboration with Music News and Liberty Music Pr looks at the best new releases from emerging and self-releasing artists. Below are this week's artists.

William Bishop – ‘The Night In Your Eyes’
Inspired by the bold and enticing sounds of acts like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, emerging singer and songwriter William Bishop treats us to his latest folk-pop swoon ‘The Night In Your Eyes’. Using little more than a stripped back acoustic guitar and his own hallowed vocals, his newest gem is a sweet and humbled composition that channels rich and powerful emotion throughout.

Lois Rae – ‘That’s Me’
After kicking things off with her vibrant debut single ‘BADDIE’ last year, fast-rising singer Lois Rae now returns to deliver her energetic sophomore offering ‘That’s Me’. Mixing a batch of trap-inspired beats and dark-pop aesthetics throughout, this return sees her show a more intense side to her sound, filled with a pulsing production and dynamic flair.

Aiida – ‘Don’t Wanna Talk About It’
After the huge success of her debut single ‘More Than A Minute’ near the end of last year, Norwegian artist Aiida is back to continue her adventures in alt-pop with the uplifting new jam ‘Don’t Wanna Talk About It’. Blending alt-pop and RnB intentions throughout, her newest release shows her in rejuvenated form with a killer chorus to boot.

Psyclo – ‘Smoke Screen’
With an incredible amount of content landing last year, emerging artist Psyclo looks to continue more of that prolific streak with her pulsing new release ‘Smoke Screen’. Much like her work to date, her newest release is a bold and driven offering that captures more of that dense and eerie direction she is getting known for.

Phantom Phunk – ‘Wound Up’ ft. C.I.D.
Known for their revolutionary and genre-bending approach to hip-hop, thanks to their previous singles ‘A Week Ago’ and ‘Tongue Tied’, Tampa-based collective Phantom Phunk bring more of that diverse sound on their latest jam ‘Wound Up’. Collaborating alongside rapper C.I.D., the group look to bring some serious grooves to this new release, taking cues from the sound of Nas in the process.
