'EVOLUTION BY ANY MEANS' By Irish Nigerian Rap Artist & Musician OG The Story

Irish Nigerian rap artist and musician OG The Story releases a brand new solo EP titled Evolution By Any Means. Once a member of the prominent Dublin-based hip hop and afrobeat collective Millaz, OG The Story stepped away from the group and music, in general, for some years, to pursue life new experiences that took him across the world to the Middle East and Africa. Fast forward to 2020 and the Irish Nigerian native is back home in Dublin with new insights, renewed passion, a sharper edge and his brand new record Evolution By Any Means.

As a passionate creative, OG The Story strives to live up to the meaning of his full name Olusegun Gbadebo which translates as "The Lord conquers, bring the crown" in Yoruba. Which is why, he is zealous about attaining his highest potential and helping others do the same, whether it is through the music on this new Ep, or as a diversity and inclusion lead in his corporate world, or actively tackling youth violence in his community.

OG The Story's captivating storytelling, excellent wordplay, infectious flow and assured rhythm is heavily influenced by hip hop legends such as Rakim and Notorious BIG, with the likes of Bob Marley and Fela Anikulapo Kuti. He controls the essence and message behind his new work, which carries the listener through insightful and emotive journeys in ways that will inspire them.

"This project is about self-expression and striving to be the best version of myself, which has led me to explore key themes including identity, consciousness, and self-love. This EP is telling the story of my journey to achieve my highest potential, while delving into a variety of life experiences with the insights and lessons gained from them. The relationship between the individual and community is also touched on in parallel to the key themes of the project, with the hope to inspire others to be their best selves,'' explains OG The A Story regarding the inspiration for the Evolution By Any Means'Ep.
