alfie NEALE Drops New Ep 'IF MY WORLD FALLS APART'

Following on from a string of highly praised and impactful singles this last year, which have included ‘Elevator’, ‘Vices’ and ‘Stepping Stones’, the latter of which went on to gain more than 60,000 Spotify streams, Brighton-based singer and songwriter Alfie Neale now collects the best of his work into his new EP ‘If My World Falls Apart’.

Featuring his previous three singles, alongside the newly unveiled cuts ‘Alright’ and the EP’s title-track, this new collection sees the frontman in fresh and positive form. Produced alongside fellow Brighton native James Berkeley of neo-soul/jazz outfit Yakul, the artist looks to follow in the footsteps of Tom Misch to deliver a bold and funk-filled approach to the indie-pop sound.

Speaking about the record’s title-track, he said, "I think the general theme of 'If My World Falls Apart' is how we rely on other people. The title track is about how I have grown to realise the importance of having people around me, something I didn't always appreciate."

While his other new addition ‘Alright’ sees him bring in a full brass element to his sound, he added, "You need to take a lot of what I say with a pinch of salt. The song is like the opposite of the story of how my girlfriend and I got together. I'm pretending that I'm some sort of smooth, loving guy when in reality I'm completely not."
